| MS Consultancy Management Goes All India |

The admission for the 12th Batch
of MS Consultancy Management Programme has been initiated. With this batch, MS
Consultancy Management Programme is being offered across the country with contact
classes to be held at Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad Centres. The modified
programme has following salient features :
- Self
Study using standardized course material
- e-coaching
- Contact
classes at weekends
- Live consulting project
The
programme provides exposure to professionals to consulting process, practices
and tools, project management, problem solving skills and exposure to various
concepts having applications in consulting across Management & Engineering
disciplines and functions. The programme will be of advantage to those already
working in consultancy assignments either for client/or internal consultants for
their employers or those wanting to make a shift to consulting profession.
The
cost of two year programme is less than Rs.1 lakh, which is the lowest for any
two year higher programme in India.
Programme will commence from first

Last date of submission of application is 14th May, 2008.
The
Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani and Consultancy Development
Centre (CDC) have been offering off-campus work integrated learning programme
leading to MS Consultancy Management for over a decade.
BITS, Pilani is
an all-India Institute for higher education deemed to be a University by the Government
of India and offers educational programmes at all the 3-tier levels: Integrated
First Degree (On Campus B.E./M.Sc etc & Off - Campus B.S. etc); Higher Degree
(On Campus M.E. / M.Pharm. etc & Off - Campus M.S. etc) and Ph.D. Degree.
CDC
is an autonomous Institution of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research
(DSIR) of Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, working towards
promoting and strengthening consultancy skill and capabilities including export
of services and process cooperation with other countries. CDC is also the nodal
agency in the Asia Pacific region for the Technical Consultancy Development Programme
for Asia and the Pacific (TCDPAP) a programme promoted by the United Nation Economic
