Government has been providing loans to Drugs
& Pharmaceutical companies for research and development
work pertaining to medicines. The names of such companies
and the amount of loan provided to these companies are given

As per the terms and conditions of the loan,
the repayment will commence after the project period and the
total amount including the interest will be recovered in 10
annual instalments. The loan carries a simple interest of
3 per cent per annum. Since these projects are on going, repayment
of loan has not begun. However, no company has shown any unwillingness
to repay the loan.
