THIRTEENTH NATIONAL CHILDREN'S SCIENCE CONGRESS

496. SHRI RAVULA CHANDRASEKAR REDDY:

Will the Minister of SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY be pleased to state :

a) whether Government have held Thirteenth National Children's Science Congress, recently; and

b) if so, the aims and objectives set during the Congress?

a) Yes Sir,

b) The primary objective is to make a forum available to young scientists in the age group of 10 to 17 years, to exhibit their creativity, innovativeness and ability to solve societal problems under a defined theme while working in teams. The theme for this Congress was `Harnessing Water Resources for a Better Future'.
