CONCESSION TO GOVERNMENT INSTITUTION

167. SHRIMATI KUM KUM RAI :

Will the Minister of SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY be pleased to state:

(a) whether it is a fact that the Government are considering to give concession in the form of partnership to the governmental institutions in lieu of technology;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether Government have considered the financial aspect in this regard; and
(d) if so, the details thereof ?

(a) The Government is examining several modes of public-private partnership of optimize the use of S&T resources for national development, one of which is participating equity in lieu of transfer of technology.
